Independent Living/Assisted Living Support

Gratitude Homecare

Providing services to your loved one wherever they chose to be, creating the comfortable environment your loved one deserves.

We provide care to elders who are in independent or assisted living residences. Many of our elders feel more comfortable in these environments.  But despite having these arrangements, they may still need a level of care beyond what is normally available.  Our home health aides provide companionship, help with feeding, and other activities of daily living, and can help provide additional support to increase their comfort level.  We always partner with the facility’s caregivers to provide the best care for your loved one.

We Work With Clients in a Broad Variety of Settings

We often receive calls from children whose parents are in an assisted living facility.  They are aware that their loved one needs a bit more attention than they can get and they try to provide that extra support. But they may be challenged because they have a career and they may be raising children. One way to address this is to bring in regular assistance from a homecare agency like Gratitude. And then you can visit whenever you are able without the stress of feeling that if you are not there, then needs of your loved one may be neglected.

Let us work with you to assess the situation and determine the best approach based on our experience.

Companionship

Caregivers can spend time with your loved one and keep them engaged and involved in a way that will help their overall well-being.

One-on-one attention

Elders benefit from one-on-one attention.  Unfortunately, this is not often possible in an independent or assisted living setting where caregivers must divide their attention among several residents.

Peace of Mind

You will have less worry knowing that your loved one has an “extra layer” of support wherever they are located.
