With a career spanning over 40 years, Jela has extensive experience in catastrophic care management, private duty care, acute and subacute rehabilitation, as well as skilled and private homecare. Her journey in homecare ignited her passion and solidified her mission to provide compassionate, personalized care.
As the founder of Gratitude Homecare and Gratitude Senior Living Solutions, Jela fosters a family-owned and operated culture dedicated to creating a warm, respectful, and supportive environment. She is deeply committed to nurturing a team-focused atmosphere that promotes better relationships, open communication, trust, and high-quality care for clients and their families.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jela loves to travel and cherishes quality time with her family and extended family, including her three children and two dogs. She is passionate about giving back to her community, actively supporting charities such as the Alzheimer's Association. Jela participates on the committee for the Annual Walk to End Alzheimer's and advocates for families affected by dementia, tirelessly working to raise awareness and support.
Gabriela Ryan
Gabriela has a background in Human Resources, Recruiting, and Compliance gained through experience with other home care agencies. She is focused on maintaining a strong compliance environment and strengthening recruiting at Gratitude Homecare through the implementation of industry-standard best practices.
In addition to her formal role at Gratitude Homecare, Gabriela recently founded a “Young Professionals in Healthcare” networking group, in conjunction with a sales director from a local assisted living residence.
Gabriela is recently married and in her free time, she loves being near water, whether at the beach in Long Island or on a boat in Greenwood Lake.
